About
Dr. Scott Strommer is a native San Diegan with deep roots in the community. He has built his reputation on delivering the highest level of dental care to his patients for over 30 years. After completing his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, he attended the UCLA School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Strommer stays on the forefront of the latest advancements in dental technology and the best ways to care for his patients’ specialized needs. He is passionate about continuing education and dedicates his time toward helping other dentists through the prestigious Kois Center, where he has been a Clinical Instructor since 2015 and a Mentor since 2011. He is also a certified CEREC trainer and has received extensive training in dental implants, allowing him to treat even the most complex cases.
In 2013, Dr. Strommer and his wife, Dr. Leslie Strommer, founded Dentistry for Humanity, a nonprofit that inspires dentists to improve access to dental care. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Strommer enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with family.
