Dr. Zach Evans

About 

Dr. Zach Evans grew up in North Augusta, South Carolina, and spent summers in his teens working in Western North Carolina. He earned his Eagle Scout badge and went on to complete his undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston. He then received his PhD in Biomedical Science, his dental degree, and his residency in Periodontics at the Medical University of South Carolina.


Dr. Evans has served as Director of the Master of Science in Dentistry program at MUSC, Chief Scientific Officer for CuRE Innovations, and President of the South Carolina Society of Periodontists. He was also the 2019 recipient of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation teaching fellowship.


He remains actively engaged in research relating to dental implants and CAD/CAM technologies, and he teaches nationally and internationally on the integration of digital systems into surgical and implant dentistry.


Dr. Evans lives with his wife, Jennifer, their daughter Lana, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Banjo. In his free time, he enjoys camping, mountain biking, fly fishing, and exploring the Blue Ridge region with his family.
