Implant Placement and Restoration Workshop
Overview
This course is designed to get users familiar with the digital workflow of restoring Implants. Each step will deliver a comprehensive understanding of scanning, designing, manufacturing crowns, and cementing crowns. Throughout the course, participants will get tips and tricks about common errors with prosthetic techniques and materials to make your life easier. This course includes hands-on exercises from start to finish restoring Implants on simulated bone models
Objectives


Discuss and go over all the parts and material used for restoring Implants
Learn what prosthetic, what options you have from custom abutments and custom locators, angled screw channel abutments, custom multi units from start to finish in planning, placing using various workflow to restore the Implant
Understanding the digital workflow and components from start to finish
Learn how to use Truabutment "Trust solution" to design fabricate custom abutments and crowns
Restoring Implants using the TruAbutment CEREC® component overview and selection
Hands-on exercises with digital implant restoration scan, design, post-mill stain, glaze, and TruBase cementation protocol with tips and tricks
- How to properly use scan post, scan body
- How to Input case information
- Go through screw, cement retained crown design
- Go through abutment, crown fabrication with shade guide, bur guide and polish technic
- Cementing crown to abutment - Glazing crowns
- Seating and aftercare
Hands-on exercise implant placements on simulated bone models



PREREQUISITES

This course is appropriate for dentists, who are planning to own a digital scanner and dental auxiliaries of any skill level. You do not need previous experience with implant placement but should have basic knowledge of computer use and dental implant surgery.
