This course will follow a typical sleep apnea patient on their journey from start to finish, from identifying and screening to diagnosing, treatment and follow-up care. Learn about oral appliance selection and how to avoid the complications that arise with oral appliances.
Objectives
Identify systemic and oral risk factors for Obstructive Sleep Apnea, take records and deliver a Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD)
Learn about Obstructive Sleep Apnea and its effects on patients
Review and understand the ADA policy on screening and treating Obstructive Sleep Apnea
